Berg Ohanian

A seasoned veteran in the college recruiting world with over 25 years of experience, Berg has coached baseball at all youth levels and served as the assistant varsity coach at the highly-regarded North Broward Preparatory High School in Florida.

Before starting Time to Sign, Berg collaborated with travel baseball pioneer, Mark Holtzman, to assist in running the original South Florida Bandits. This organization helped hundreds of student-athletes secure college commitments, had over 60 players selected in the MLB Draft, and had more than 20 players play Major League Baseball, including DJ Lemahieu, Rick porcello, Matt Harvey, Anthony desclafani, & Marcus Stroman.

For the last two decades, Berg has been instrumental in helping student-athletes achieve their dreams of playing college baseball. His vast network and strong relationships with hundreds of college coaches across the country provide Time to Sign's student-athletes and their families with critical exposure and opportunities.

Before moving to Florida, Berg owned a luxury consumer products company. Berg has two children, including a daughter who graduated from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing an MBA at Harvard Business School and a son who is a Duke baseball alumnus and a former pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds' organization.

Sarkis Ohanian

Duke University | Cincinnati Reds

Sarkis Ohanian’s trajectory through baseball is marked by a combination of talent, dedication, and academic prowess. As a position player turned pitcher, Sarkis displayed a natural flair for pitching that propelled his ascent into the world of high-level baseball.

His collegiate years at Duke University laid a strong foundation for his athletic and intellectual pursuits. Graduating with a degree in Sociology and a Certificate in Markets & Management, Sarkis not only showcased his ability on the baseball field, but also demonstrated his commitment to academic excellence. As one of Duke’s top relief pitchers, and one of the top relief pitchers in the country during his senior year, Sarkis garnered recognition for his stellar performance when he was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 9th Round of the 2015 MLB Draft.

In addition to his role at Duke, Sarkis spent two summers with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League. During the 2013 season with the Harbor Hawks, Sarkis solidified his potential as a pro prospect. His impeccable performance, highlighted by a remarkable streak of not allowing a single run in 14.1 innings of work, earned him a spot in the Cape Cod League All-Star game.

Before his collegiate career, Sarkis honed his skills at North Broward Prep School in Coconut Creek, FL. His senior year stands out with an impressive ERA and a knack for striking out hitters, culminating in a crucial role in securing North Broward’s District and Regional Championships while advancing to the Florida State Championship.

Beyond his achievements on the field, Sarkis’ passion for the game led him to embrace a role as a Consultant with Time to Sign Sports. In this capacity, he shares his wealth of experience and expertise to guide young athletes through the college recruiting process while preparing them to succeed at the next level of competition, both on and off the field.

With a blend of athletic and academic achievement, gratitude and passion for the game of baseball, and a commitment to mentorship, Sarkis continues to make a significant impact in the world of baseball, shaping the future of aspiring student-athletes and leaving a lasting legacy in the sport.

David Donatucci

Dayton University | CSCS

A graduate of the University of Dayton, David Donatucci began his career in Sports Performance in 1991 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF) in Cleveland, Ohio. He gained valuable experience working with numerous high schools, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns and the WNBA. Additionally, he trained several elite figure skaters, including the 2000 U.S National Champion and 2002 Olympic Bronze Medalist, Timothy Goebel. During his time at CCF, David earned his master’s degree from Cleveland State University in Exercise Science and became Director of the Center for Athletic Performance.

In the summer of 1999, David began working at the International Performance Institute (IPI) on the campus of IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida and became the director in 2001. At IMG, he was responsible for designing and implementing training programs for the full-time academy students participating in tennis, soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball and golf. David also trained numerous professional athletes from the NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, LPGA and PGA.

After nine years at IPI, David accepted a position with the PGA of America as the Director of Fitness and Performance. David designed and operated the first fitness facility at the PGA’s Center for Golf Learning and Performance, authored the PGA Professional Golf Management Program Level I-III Fitness Curriculum, and participated in many of the events hosted by the PGA of America offering presentations, clinics and fitness programs. He also designed and coordinated the PGA of America Sports Academy program.

In 2012 David left the PGA of America to open his own performance center, the Florida Institute of Performance. After 8 years, David was given the opportunity to expand the business and is now the general manager of Arise Center for Athletic Development in Jupiter, FL where he continues to provide comprehensive sports performance training programs using the most advanced training methods for professional, collegiate, high school and senior athletes.

David is a nationally recognized speaker in the field of strength and conditioning. He has presented at numerous clinics and conferences.

David is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a member of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Advisory Board, and a “Subject-Matter” expert in fitness and golf for the PGA of America.

Brian Buchanan

University of Virginia | Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres, NY Mets

Brian Buchanan is a former professional baseball outfielder and coach. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 2000 through 2004 for the Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres, and the New York Mets. A standout player at the University of Virginia (UVA), in 1993 Buchanan played collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and in 1994 returned to the Cape League to play for the Hyannis Mets. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round (24th overall) of the 1994 MLB draft. Buchanan still holds Virginia baseball season records for home runs, slugging percentage, and total bases. He was the first UVA player to be chosen in the first round of the MLB draft and was inducted into the Virginia Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018.

Brian Schneider

Montreal Expos/Wash. Nationals, NY Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Miami Marlins

Brian Schneider is a former professional baseball catcher and coach, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies. Schneider was the Miami Marlins catching coach from 2016 through 2019, and the quality control coach for the Mets from 2020 through 2021. Schneider played high school baseball and basketball at Northampton Area High School in Northampton, Pennsylvania, in the state's highly competitive East Penn Conference. In 1994 and again in 1995, he was named Player of the Year in the Lehigh Valley. Over the course of his high school career, Schneider hit .427, with 22 doubles, and 11 home runs, and set a Northampton High School record with 91 runs batted in. As a senior, he had a .484 batting average. In 1995, Schneider signed a letter of intent to play college baseball at Central Florida. Schneider was selected by the Montreal Expos in the 5th round of the 1995 MLB draft.
