Founder-led recruiting

A College Coach Network Built Over Decades

Founder Berg Ohanian has spent more than 25 years in college recruiting. He helped build the South Florida Bandits alongside travel baseball pioneer Mark Holtzman, and together Time to Sign and the Bandits have sent hundreds of players to college baseball and 30+ to the Major Leagues, including DJ LeMahieu, Rick Porcello, Matt Harvey, Anthony DeSclafani and Marcus Stroman.

Today his relationships with hundreds of college coaches across the country give every TTS player real exposure and real opportunities. That network is built into every Time to Sign team.

Why recruiting has changed

The TTS point of view

The transfer portal, roster pressure and fewer roster spots for high school players have made college baseball recruiting harder to read. Sending a highlight video to a hundred programs is not a plan. Families need an honest picture of where a player fits, and a focused list of the programs that are realistic and right.

Honest evaluation

Where your game fits

Experienced evaluators qualify a player’s current skill level and future projectability.

Athletic fit

The right level

We know each program’s needs per recruiting class and where a player truly fits on the depth chart.

Academic fit

The right school

GPA, course rigor, testing and intended study shape the list as much as the radar gun.

Targeted action

Fewer, better schools

A unique list built from academic, athletic, social and financial factors, not a mass email list.

Follow-through

Every step, every year

Consistent communication with college coaches, from the day a player joins to his first day on campus.

TTS staff

Consistent Communication

Ongoing conversations and regular Zoom calls with TTS staff keep every player’s development and recruiting on track, so families always know where things stand.

How support works

The player, family, Regional Director and TTS stay aligned through shared resources and clear next actions. TTS provides structure, evaluation and guidance. The player executes. The family supports. The Regional Director stays involved.

What families say

A family’s story

“Berg and the team at Time to Sign Sports provided wisdom, guidance (tough at times and not always want we wanted to hear), and sanity to an otherwise insane (recruiting) process - we can't imagine having to go through it without them. From the countless phone calls, emails and on-going counsel (for the student and the athlete), to their Showcases and Travel Team, their comprehensive approach gave Bear (Jake) the comfort and the confidence to focus on performing and getting better as a player, a student, and as a person! Life is about relationships, and from the beginning of our relationship with Time to Sign, Bear was treated like one of their sons and our entire family became a part of the Time To Sign family. Then, where the "rubber meets the road," the relationships Berg has grown and nurtured in the collegiate baseball community over his history as a coach, a scout, an entrepreneur, a mentor and a dad, are second to none. Thanks again Time To Sign - for everything!”
